    This policy explains what information Bitralynx Solutions collects on this website, how we use it, and how you can control it.

    Who we are

    Bitralynx Solutions is a founder-led managed IT provider serving nonprofits, human services, and behavioral health organizations in the New York metropolitan area. This website is the public marketing site for Bitralynx Solutions. Visitors can browse this website without creating an account.

    Resource requests

    When you request a downloadable resource, we collect your first name, work email, and (optionally) your organization name. We use that information to:

    • Start your download and email you a copy of the resource.
    • Record that you requested that specific resource, so we can respond helpfully if you follow up.
    • Send you occasional IT guidance and information about Bitralynx Solutions, but only if you explicitly check the optional marketing consent box.

    We store one contact record per email address (normalized to lowercase). Repeat resource requests from the same email are recorded as separate activities linked to your single contact record. Leaving the optional marketing checkbox unchecked on a later request does not revoke a previous opt-in; only an explicit unsubscribe does that.

    Session token for repeat downloads

    After you complete a resource request, we set a short-lived, functional session cookie on bitralynx.com. The cookie contains only a random, opaque token. It does not contain your name, email, or organization. The token lets you download additional gated resources during the same browsing session without re-entering your information. The cookie is marked Secure and SameSite=Lax, is limited to a short server-side lifetime (about eight hours), and is not shared with any third party.

    Email delivery and marketing consent

    We send resource emails using a third-party email delivery provider. Your email address is shared with that provider only for the purpose of delivering the message you requested.

    Marketing consent is opt-in and unchecked by default. If you choose to opt in, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email. Requesting a resource by itself does not enroll you in marketing.

    What we do not do

    • We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.
    • We do not run behavioral advertising trackers on this website.
    • We do not automatically enroll resource requesters in marketing.
    • We do not require visitors to create accounts to use the public website.

    Retention

    We retain resource-request records for as long as they remain useful for supporting our relationship with you or for legitimate business record-keeping. You can request deletion of your contact record and the resource activities linked to it at any time by emailing info@bitralynx.com.
